Vista, Adaptec, Epson and Canon

I have been using Vista Ultimate 64 since January 2007, fairly happily I might add.  Okay it had a few issues at first, but were soon rectified.  The only major problems I have had with Vista are the lack of drivers.  For the drivers that I want, this has not been Microsoft’s fault but rather the peripheral/component manufactures.  Many of the manufacturers that I have contacted have replied saying that unless there is a demand for it, they will not release drivers for Vista and/or 64bit drivers.  Unless I am mistaken, the fact I am asking should indicate there is a need, not to mention all of the forums complaining about this.

Vista Colour Management

I have been struggling to sort out colour profile issues for a while now. I came across a post earlier today on Vistax64.com and thought I would give it a go, despite having tried almost every option I could find.  Firstly, let me point out, I have had Adobe Gamma installed and was sure that I had removed it. Anyway, someone had pointed out that it had been installed on their system with another application, low and behold it had indeed reinstalled on my system with another application as well.
