Nickbits

I wrote in an early post, see Turnpike Secondary School, about my intention to gather information including the history, photographs and stories of the school.  Since then I have received a few offers of support.  I have not had the time to push this, however, I am going to be pushing it more in the coming months.

I am still unsure as to when, or if the book will get published.  This all depends on the amount of material I can get and the time available.  I plan to keep people updated by email and this blog and will create a gallery to show the photos I have collected.  I have also set-up a Flickr gallery if people would prefer that method to submit images (note this is invite only to stop spam, so jsut drop me a line on my contact page and I will invite you to it).

Please note, if I am to publish a book, I do need high resolution images.  I can scan the images if required.

Any stories you could give whilst you were there would also be appreciated.  Teachers you remember, pupils, trips, etc.  I may set-up Skype to allow me to record conversations over the phone.  If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please do let me know.
