I have been struggling to sort out colour profile issues for a while now. I came across a post earlier today on Vistax64.com and thought I would give it a go, despite having tried almost every option I could find.  Firstly, let me point out, I have had Adobe Gamma installed and was sure that I had removed it. Anyway, someone had pointed out that it had been installed on their system with another application, low and behold it had indeed reinstalled on my system with another application as well. Anyway, two simple steps to get the colour profiles to work:

• Use Adobe Gamma to create a profile
• In Control Panel, open the colour management, add the profile you created and then in the bottom right click the profiles button and select "Combine my settings with system defaults"

Two simple steps and months of frustration have been solved.
