TV/Film Review: Willow
Anyone who grew up in the 80's will remember Willow. The story, aimed at both children and adults, is about a dwarf called Willow, played by Warwick Davis, who finds a special baby who's destiny it is to rule the land and bring about the downfall of the evil Queen Bavmorda, played by Jean Marsh. Willow is helped by an unlikely hero, Madmartigan played by Val Kilmer and a sorceress Fin Raziel played by Patricia Hayes. For the time, the graphical effects were remarkable and even pioneered the morphing sequence (making one object/person turn into another). Ron Howard directed this film and was produced by George Lucas. Anyone who has not seen this movie should defiantly do so.
