Etiquette, Courtesy and Ignorance
Etiquette, Courtesy
Since releasing two ported themes for Drupal last year I have had numerous emails. Mostly positive, a few asking for additional features and a few bugs. I have no problem with this, in-fact I encourage it. Most people are polite and patient. However, as always there is usually the one or two exceptions. Impatience is one of the problems where I get an email saying "your theme doesn’t work and I need to work now" or "I need feature xyz for a website that I have promised to be completed today."
A new record
Today, 10th March, I have broken the record of visitors for last year. In 2007, from 1st Janaury to 31st December I had a total of 3,059 visitors. This year, from 1st January to 10th March I have had a total of 3,065 visitors. So in less than 3 months I have exceeded all ofthe 2007record. A big thank you to all of you who have visited my site and continue to. None of this would have been possible with out you.
Website design
I have covered various parts of website design before, however, I still get asked several questions about what I teach, what would I suggest to use for content management, etc. This post is a brief outline on my thoughts.
