Research in use

I came across a publication a while ago which featured a piece of my work. The paper "An Evaluation of Motion JPEG 2000 for Video Archiving" by Glenn Pearson and Michael Gill, refers to a piece of code, EMILY (see original code at Bath University), that I produced for viewing, compressing and decompressing images and video. It is nice to find that my work is actually being looked at, if not used, by others.

More recently, Florence Tushabe and M. H. F. Wilkinson published a paper entitled "Image Preprocessing for Compression: Attribute Filtering" in which they reference another piece of my work, specifically a paper I wrote. I have met Dr Wilkinson at a conference and helped Florence by producing sample filtered images for her to use.
