Thatcham Historical Society (1999 - Present)

The Thatcham Historical Society exists to promote an interest, not only in the local history of Thatcham and district, but also in historical matters in general. I am a keen historian, interested mainly in pre-historic and British history. In 1999 my research and interest were fired up again and I became a member of the Thatcham Historical Society. In 2002 I started to run part of the website and by 2004 I was running the entire website.  In 2003 I became a committee member, which has been interesting and useful.  In 2004 I started to publish the society newsletter and 2007 has seen the release of a journal which I have managed for the last few years.
